1. How would you describe BILSTEIN in one sentence – from the perspective of a workshop professional?

Quality, service and support. We offer great products that we can provide professional advice on and offer a professional service in tuning, repair and custom one-off builds. There are very few brands In Australia that can offer that level of service and options.

2. Why would you recommend BILSTEIN products to other workshops?

BILSTEIN is a brand name synonymous with quality and has a vast product range with long term support in Australia with generous stock levels and margins offered. Most of our products are designed to work in an OE fit scenario which makes replacing other parts like springs, top mounts and other bushings quite simple.

3. What do you appreciate most about the quality of BILSTEIN products in the aftermarket?

The consistency in quality and ride control as well as the value that our products offer is hard to beat.

4. How do your customers experience BILSTEIN products after they have been installed?

Most of the market here especially is either loading vehicles, towing or heading off road. However, most of the driving is done on the road and the BILSTEIN products offer a vast improvement over standard.

5. In your opinion, what distinguishes BILSTEIN from other manufacturers in the aftermarket?

The ability to find the best mix generally between comfort and control in both on and off road vehicles.

6. How important is it to you that all BILSTEIN products undergo particularly extensive testing programs and are intensively tested in your own aftermarket driving tests?

Hugely important. Any prototype built here in Australia goes through multiple stages of testing in multiple conditions. Australians tend to push the envelope of what a car is expected to do – across being a work vehicle to a holiday vehicle and a tow vehicle all in one. We cover all facets of what we believe our customer can put one of our shocks. That’s why we have repeat customers.
