BILSTEIN products won reader polls 2020

Many cars with BILSTEIN suspension components have crossed the finish line first on the race tracks of the world. Even outside of the motor sport courses, the suspension specialist scores top results in the reader polls of the relevant publishers again and again – as in 2020.

The most recent success is the double victory in the German reader’s choice SPORT AUTO AWARD 2020. A tremendous number of 12,947 people took part in the poll and chose their favourite brands from 21 categories. According to the final count, BILSTEIN took first place in both the categories of “Shock absorbers” (60.9 %) and “Sport suspensions” (55.6 %). You can read all details in SPORT AUTO 12/2020.

BILSTEIN products enjoy great trust in Switzerland, too. This is shown by a look at the Best of Brands award celebrated at the end of each year, which is presented by the Swiss Auto Illustrierte magazine. 2316 readers voted in 2020, significantly more than last year. There was a range of 433 companies in 16 categories to choose from. In the “Suspension” category, BILSTEIN made it to the top of the podium with 16.8%. The 2020 reader poll of the German magazine AUTO ZEITUNG dates back a while. For the twelfth time in a row, BILSTEIN secured first place in the category “Sport suspensions” and thus also the “GOLDEN TOP BRAND 2020” seal. Of the total of 15,631 participants, 28.2% chose the company from Germany and once again put their personal favourite brand at the top. Compared to the previous year, BILSTEIN was even able to improve its own score by 2%.

Already at the beginning of the year, the readers of German AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT voted for the best brands in the fields of automotive accessories, the supplier industry and providers of automotive services. In the “BEST CARS 2020” poll, they voted for their favourite brands in 24 categories, from exhaust systems to spark plugs. BILSTEIN (68.2%) won again the first prize in the category “Sport suspensions” and defended its leading position.

Fans of young classic automobiles and veteran cars also continue to prefer BILSTEIN suspensions. In Germany, 17,610 readers took part in the 2020 MOTOR KLASSIK poll. Among other things, they voted for their favourite brand within various product and service categories. In this “BEST BRAND” poll, BILSTEIN did brilliantly in the “Suspension” category with a renewed high approval rate of 74.9%, putting it in first place.
