May 20th, 2024 – Amsoil Championship Off-Road racing kicked off this past weekend in Lena, WI, at the Dirt City Motorplex.  Short course racing always promises door-to-door, flag to flag racing excitement and this weekend delivered on all those promises and then some.  Champions were back to defend their titles and newcomers were on hand to try to make their mark in the marquee short course series.

Bilstein Motorsports tuners Nathan Ellis and Kyler Riche were busy in the pits all thru the weekend working tirelessly to help Bilstein racers tune in new suspensions and squeeze the most out of their machines.  To some the process of getting the most out of race suspensions is magic and voodoo, not these guys, they’ve got it down to a science and the weekends results proved that.

Here’s a look at the highlights of Rounds 1 and 2 of the Amsoil Championship Racing Series:

PRO 2, Saturday, Round 1: Bilstein equipped racer Mickey Thomas fought his way to the top of the box, claiming the his first win of the 2024 season.  New RBM Bilstein racer Ricky Gutierrez found himself in 6th and Ryan Beat was right behind in 7th place.

PRO Lite, Saturday, Round 1: CLEAN SWEEP!  BILSTEIN racers claimed the top three spots in PRO Lite.  Johnny Holter took 1st, followed by Trey Gibbs and Carson Parrish in second and third respectively.

PRO SxS, Saturday, Round 1: This race marked an important first for BILSTEIN, a UTV racing on Blackhawk UTV shocks in Short course.  New BILSTEIN racer Leland Thyes left it all on the track scoring a 7th place finish in his CanAm X3.

PRO 2, Sunday, Round 2: Ryan Beat Motorsports walked away with some new hardware. Equipped with BILSTEIN M 9200 Series shocks, Ryan Beat (No. 51) made his return to PRO2 action and scored his first win of the season. It was an impressive weekend for RBM overall, as they unloaded five trucks for five drivers across three classes.

PRO Lite, Sunday, Round 2:  The winning continued on Sunday as Trey Gibbs, Johnny Holtger, and Carson Brown swept the podium for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place victories, respectively.

PRO SxS, Sunday, Round 2:  Leland Thyes kept his X3 in the top 10 in round 2, finishing 9th in this ultra-competitive class.

BILSTEIN Racers return to the track June 8-9 in Antigo, WI, for Rounds 3 & 4. You can watch LIVE on FloSports Racing. Rounds 1 & 2 will be aired on Fox Sports on June 9th.
